Utilities Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of utility maintenance engineers and technicians
• Manage daily inspection and operation of industrial utility and general equipment
• Establish maintenance standards and preventive maintenance plans
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment including air compressors, nitrogen generation systems, vacuum pumps, dust collection, VOC exhaust, and wastewater treatment systems
• Diagnose and resolve equipment abnormalities to ensure high availability
• Lead technical improvement initiatives and reliability enhancements
• Maintain equipment documentation, SOPs, and maintenance records
• Coordinate with production, facilities, and EHS teams

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in industrial utilities, facilities, or equipment engineering
• Hands-on experience with at least two of: air compressors, nitrogen generators, vacuum pumps, or central dust collection systems
• Solid understanding of industrial utility equipment operating principles
• Strong troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance experience
• Ability to read equipment manuals, P&IDs, and technical documentation
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with VOC exhaust treatment and industrial wastewater treatment processes
• Prior experience supervising engineers and technicians
• Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance management systems
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin or other languages
• Experience in battery, semiconductor, chemical, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing
• Willingness to work night shifts or rotating shifts
