Responsibilities

• Manage the start-up and shut-down of the workstation following defined operating procedures
• Set part origins and perform tool adjustments
• Launch production series and implement necessary corrections
• Perform program modifications as required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation

Requirements

• Bac pro or BTS in machining/mechanics or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of general mechanics and mathematics (trigonometry, cutting speeds, feed rates)
• Proficiency with cutting tools (carbides, drills, etc.)
• Knowledge of control techniques (gauges, profile projectors, roughness testers, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of FANUC CNC controls
• Experience with dual-spindle, multi-turret lathes is a plus
• Ability to work in a 2x8 shift pattern (05:00-13:00 or 13:00-21:00)
