Usher/Ticket Taker

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and scan tickets upon entry to the venue
• Assist guests with locating seats and answering venue-related questions
• Examine tickets and passes to verify authenticity for various seat levels
• Maintain venue safety, cleanliness, and presentation
• Resolve guest complaints or problems with tact and diplomacy
• Provide assistance to guests with special needs, including seat accommodations
• Participate in venue sustainability and recycling efforts
• Guide guests to exits and provide instructions in case of emergency
• Assist with venue closing procedures, including collecting recyclables and storing equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1+ year of experience in a guest service role preferred
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to walk and climb stairs constantly
• Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.+ occasionally
