About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide first and second level technical support and concierge-level assistance for the firm's computers, communications, and collaboration systems.
- Manage the help desk lifecycle by opening, closing, and maintaining current tickets in the tracking system.
- Deliver mobile device support and assist with the firm's inventory of equipment and software.
- Provide after-hours or escalation support as part of a regular, rotating schedule.
- Assist with software patching efforts and provide "smart-hands" assistance to the engineering team.
- Support conference room A/V equipment and cloud communication tools.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-4 years of experience working in large environments (300+ users).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work the 3:00 PM to Midnight shift.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, occasionally to remote locations with little notice.
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
