About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the UX Lead by conducting user research sessions including interviews, usability tests, and contextual inquiries
- Execute discussion guides, screeners, and research protocols
- Observe and document user behaviors, pain points, and patterns
- Administer quantitative data collection methods such as surveys, card sorting, and tree testing
- Compile and organize raw research data into structured formats for synthesis
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience
- Hands-on experience conducting usability testing and interviews
- Working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data collection methods
- Strong note-taking and data organization skills
- Ability to obtain an active TS/SCI with FSP within 7 years
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience running research studies end-to-end
- Experience operating in an agile development environment
- Ability to create visual designs, storyboards, and interaction flows
- Experience working with Product Owners to prototype and iterate on design solutions
