US Training Manager - Operations & Production

Responsibilities

• Design and standardize a 30-60-90 day onboarding program for all hourly and production roles to improve retention.
• Develop cross-training matrices and structured pathways to increase workforce flexibility and reduce single-point dependency.
• Build and maintain role-based training materials, job instruction guides, and visual training tools.
• Implement train-the-trainer capabilities at various manufacturing sites.
• Integrate safety and quality expectations into all training programs in partnership with Safety and Quality leaders.
• Track training effectiveness using metrics such as time to proficiency, retention rates, and safety performance trends.
• Travel to U.S. manufacturing and distribution sites as needed (approximately 30–40%).

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in training, manufacturing operations, or workforce development.
• Proven experience working with hourly and production teams in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, onboarding, and skills development.
• Ability to influence plant leadership and drive accountability across different departments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Operations, or a related field (or six years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).

• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a strong plus.
