US Spirits Vendor Managed Inventory Planner

Responsibilities

• Own distributor inventory performance across SGWS and BBG states to optimize service levels and cost.
• Build and implement VMI plans that generate accurate replenishment orders and inform supply forecasts.
• Translate complex data into clear replenishment actions to reduce excess inventory and prevent out-of-stocks.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Logistics, and Finance to balance commercial priorities with supply constraints.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for distributor planning teams, leading regular business reviews to drive accountability.
• Monitor distributor inventory, shipments, and service metrics to resolve gaps against service and DSI targets.
• Manage the full order lifecycle, including proactive communication on order status, risks, and logistics updates.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in supply planning, VMI, customer operations, or related roles (CPG or beverage alcohol experience preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business decisions.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning systems is a plus.
• Solid understanding of inventory management and logistics concepts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
