US Payroll Tier 3

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day US and Canada payroll activities in collaboration with Tier 2 and management
• Provide subject matter expertise to clients regarding all payroll-related inquiries
• Prepare and distribute various payroll reports to internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate with Tax and Garnishment teams to ensure seamless payroll processing
• Train Tier 2 resources on payroll processes and prepare detailed process documentation
• Review and sign off on payroll transmittal reports to ensure timely execution
• Manage the payroll team in the absence of the Team Lead
• Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for payroll issues and implement preventive actions

Requirements

• 3+ years of expertise in US and Canada payroll laws and tax obligations
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, and Macros
• Subject Matter Expertise in payroll testing, mapping, reporting, and analysis
• 3-year Degree or Diploma
• Ability to work US shifts (Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm EST)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• FPC or relevant payroll certification
