About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze, research, and resolve payroll cases logged into the case management system.
- Manage end-to-end payroll inquiries, ensuring professional and efficient communication with customers.
- Process employee terminations through the HCM system, including calculating final pay, vacation, and severance.
- Calculate complex payments such as retro pay, missing pay, penalties, overpayments, and severance according to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Partner with HR Business Partners to provide updates and answer policy-related questions.
- Interpret and explain company policies, guidelines, and the impact of mergers or acquisitions on benefits.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in US payroll, HR service delivery, or payroll transitions.
- University degree (Graduate).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work a Mid-Day (EMEA) shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with final pay and offboarding payroll processes.
- Hands-on exposure to HRMS systems, specifically HCM experience.
