US College Admissions Counselor

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 counseling to applicants to build their extracurricular profiles and applications
• Meet remotely with students to guide them through the application process
• Edit essays and provide constructive feedback to foster independent writing skills
• Generate creative and practical professional experiences and projects for student extracurricular activities
• Collaborate with a team of counselors and a Senior Counselor Mentor to support student progress
• Maintain a caseload of up to 15 students based on availability

Requirements

• Phenomenal writing skills
• Experience working with students
• Bachelor's Degree from a US college or university

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree (in progress or completed)
• Teaching experience with high school, college, or graduate students
• Previous admissions experience
