Urology Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive urology ultrasound examinations
• Interpret results and provide detailed reports
• Ensure safe and effective use of ultrasound equipment
• Adhere to best practices, protocols, and maintain accurate patient records
• Prepare patients for procedures and address their concerns
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
• HCPC registration
• Postgraduate qualification in Urology Sonography
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in urology sonography
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting images
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
