Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional treatment, physical examinations, assessments, diagnosis, and treatment
- Order and interpret lab results and EKGs
- Manage patient panels and close preventative care gaps
- Triage and manage patients efficiently to maintain steady flow
- Perform digital blocks, regional anesthesia, and minor surgical procedures like wound closure and I&D
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as joint and cyst aspirations
- Perform closed reductions of simple fractures or dislocations
- Apply and modify braces, splints, and orthopedic appliances
Requirements
- Physician Assistant: Medical/Master’s degree with valid state license and national certification
- Nurse Practitioner: RN license, NP certification, and valid state license
- Willingness to obtain DOT certification prior to start date
- Eligibility for and willingness to obtain DEA registration, controlled substance license, and BLS certification
