Urban Planner

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed and comprehensive planning projects, including detailed plans, program plans, and comprehensive plans.
• Act as a project manager (uppdragsledare) with responsibility for project economics, progress, and follow-up.
• Serve as a process leader and advisor to municipalities and private actors on planning issues.
• Conduct strategic investigations, analyses, and prepare planning documents and physical design ideas.
• Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Master's degree in architecture or an equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 10 years of experience as an Urban Planner, either in consultancy or within a municipality.
• Deep knowledge of the Planning and Building Act (PBL) and the urban development process.
• Proven experience in project management for detailed plans and other planning assignments.
• Fluency in Swedish (both written and spoken) is required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
