Urban Infrastructure Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the urban infrastructure team in Chicoutimi, managing resource allocation and professional development.
• Oversee the design, planning, and management of large-scale municipal projects including roadways, sewers, aqueducts, and stormwater management.
• Review and comment on project deliverables and supervise junior team members to support their career growth.
• Participate in the development of professional service proposals and market expansion strategies.
• Act as a Project Manager for urban development projects while promoting a culture of innovation, safety, and collaboration.
• Support the team in achieving billability targets and participate in the creation of standard operating procedures (SOP).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with relevant experience.
• Active membership with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
• 10+ years of experience in urban development.
• Valid ASP Construction card.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to plan and execute projects with limited supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in professional consulting services.
• Deep understanding of municipal infrastructure systems.
• Proficiency in English to facilitate collaboration with international teams and clients.
• Previous experience in team management or leadership roles.
