Responsibilities

• Maintain honey bee hives at client sites on a three-week service cycle
• Install new hives and related equipment at client locations
• Conduct routine hive inspections and maintenance
• Manage complete honey harvest and final product delivery
• Collect samples and field data to monitor hive health
• Complete accurate record-keeping and service reports using digital tools
• Perform pest and parasite monitoring and treatment
• Facilitate educational workshops and engage the public
• Travel to client sites, apiary yards, and equipment depots

Requirements

• Hands-on beekeeping experience and knowledge of hive health
• Availability to service hives on a recurring schedule
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfort using mobile and digital tools for data logging
• Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle
• Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfort with beekeeping hazards such as stings and inclement weather
