Requirements
500 HR RYT Certification, 3-5 years yoga teaching experience, Experience with young adults, Knowledge of Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative yoga, Strong classroom management
About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach yoga classes to 9th and 10th graders on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (2:05 - 2:45pm)
- Create a quiet, mindful environment for students to explore yoga
- Demonstrate strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
- Encourage students to develop healthy habits, body awareness, resilience, and self-confidence
Requirements
- 500 HR RYT Certification
- 3-5 years of experience teaching yoga to young adults in small groups
- Proficiency in multiple styles including Vinyasa, Yin, Gentle, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Meditation, and Pranayama
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to make positive connections with students, parents, and faculty
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working within a school environment
