Upper School Math Teacher

Responsibilities

• Teach four sections of mathematics (typically 15-18 students per section)
• Serve as an advisor for a group of 10-12 students
• Implement engaging pedagogical strategies to build critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Provide assessments and feedback to support student content mastery
• Serve on departmental, divisional, and advisory faculty teams
• Foster a safe, supportive environment that recognizes the link between social-emotional learning and academic performance
• Participate in annual self-reflection, goal-setting, and professional growth

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• 3-5 years of teaching experience
• Ability to teach all levels of the Upper School mathematics curriculum
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage classroom environments and interact with parents and staff
• Commitment to inclusive and equitable instructional practices
• Willingness to support the school community through extracurricular involvement
