Upholsterer I

Responsibilities

• Sew and produce aircraft seat coverings using premium leather materials to ensure a perfect fit and finish
• Expertly apply leather coverings to seats while maintaining high quality and consistency
• Accurately cut foam, leather, Velcro, and other materials to specific production requirements
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure on-time delivery of products
• Participate in production meetings, safety programs, and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Adhere to all federal, state, local, and company safety and compliance policies

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (2 years of relevant experience required in the absence of a diploma)
• Proficiency with upholstery tools including spray guns, scissors, hammers, and sewing machines
• Working knowledge of different types of fabrics
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
