About the role
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Environment Lead to define project look and establish workflows
- Create high-quality 3D assets, materials, and textures
- Collaborate with other Environment Artists to craft compelling spaces
- Breakdown environment tasks and create asset briefs for studio and external artists
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in CG art for entertainment or games
- Experience building environments from initial blackout to final polish
- Portfolio demonstrating environment asset creation and world building
- Proficiency in Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush, and Substance Painter
- Strong understanding of Unreal Engine workflows, scene composition, and lighting
- Ability to model, sculpt, and texture organic and hard surface assets
- Basic understanding of Sequencer and Movie Render Queue
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with procedural world building (PCG, Houdini)
- Experience with SpeedTree or similar vegetation tools
- Technical Art background including Blueprints, Python/MEL, or advanced materials
- Experience lighting environments in Unreal Engine
- Experience with motion capture stages or LED Wall projects
