Unix Linux Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage UNIX and Enterprise Fedora-based Linux platforms including Red Hat, CentOS, and Oracle Linux
• Manage patching, upgrades, migrations, and virtualization processes
• Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot UNIX/Linux servers across Production, Development, QA, Test, and Disaster Recovery environments
• Perform system performance monitoring and issue response
• Handle asset tracking and updates for all maintained systems
• Provide 24/7/365 support for physical and virtual UNIX/Linux servers

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Linux Systems Engineer or professional
• Hands-on experience with bare-metal physical servers
• Experience working in a 24/7 Data Center environment
• Proficiency with Linux Distribution Platforms (RedHat, Oracle Linux, CentOS, Rocky, etc.)
• Experience with storage configuration from UNIX/Linux OS
• Strong Bash scripting skills
• Experience with Dell PowerEdge and Oracle x86 servers
• Proven ability to deploy Linux open-source applications and perform system log analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a UNIX Engineer
• Knowledge of Red Hat Clustering (Pacemaker/Corosync) technologies
• Experience with Oracle Exadata Appliance
• College degree or equivalent experience and certification
• Bilingual skills (Korean)
