University Registrar

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to align multi-campus registrar services with institutional priorities and mission.
• Lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of key systems including Banner, Degree Works, and College Scheduler.
• Oversee daily operations including registration, scheduling, grading, transfer articulation, and graduation audits.
• Ensure the integrity, security, and accuracy of all student academic records across Sacramento, San Francisco, and Stockton campuses.
• Maintain compliance with FERPA, NCAA Division I, and Veterans Affairs certification requirements.
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to develop and review academic policies and curriculum.
• Analyze enrollment trends and graduation data to support institutional reporting and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Eight (8) years of experience in a higher education registrar's office or enrollment services.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of academic regulations.
• Proven experience working with Student Information Systems (SIS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral or terminal degree.
• Direct experience with Banner/Ellucian systems.
• Experience managing software system implementations, integrations, or migrations.
• Experience working within a multi-campus institution with multiple academic calendars.
• Demonstrated commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of service orientation.
