Universal Banker

Responsibilities

• Acquire and manage member relationships by assisting with account management and financial education
• Proactively cross-sell products and services to help members achieve financial success
• Assist members with deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and new account openings
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive engagement and follow-ups
• Provide notarial services, including witnessing and authenticating documents
• Resolve moderately complex member issues through research and inter-departmental communication
• Follow risk and compliance processes to safeguard member assets and privacy

Requirements

• High School diploma required
• Valid Notary license required upon hire
• Ability to obtain or possess a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration
• Proven customer service experience
• Proficiency with MS Office and general office equipment
• Ability to handle cash and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Some college education
• Previous retail banking or member service experience
• Knowledge of banking and credit union regulations
• Experience recommending financial products and plans
