Universal Banker II

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service by processing financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
• Open and manage consumer and business membership accounts
• Assess member financial needs through consultative questioning to recommend appropriate products like IRAs, CDs, and loans
• Process loan applications, review documentation, and facilitate the signing of loan documents
• Maintain accurate balancing records and manage branch technology such as ATMs, cash recyclers, and check scanners
• Document member interactions and follow up on financial needs within the IRM system
• Support branch operations by performing supervisory overrides and assisting with onboarding new employees

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience in a financial branch environment or comparable retail sales experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively with members at all levels in both written and verbal formats
• Ability to interpret financial information such as credit scores, debt, and interest rates
• Must be able to pass a background check including credit, drug screen, bondability, and criminal background
• Ability to work a Saturday rotation schedule and provide coverage at other branches when necessary
