Unity Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement engineering solutions in Unity including game mechanics, navigation, AI, animation, physics, rendering, localization, and UI
• Collaborate with other Unity Developers to design and create various gameplay systems
• Write well-architected, maintainable, and reusable code
• Develop, test, profile, and optimize code while fixing bugs
• Identify technical risks and generate solutions to overcome them
• Refactor existing code and modify Unity engine code as needed
• Document and peer review technical designs and code submissions
• Work with QA to provide necessary information for testing developed code
• Communicate with team members and stakeholders to determine requirements

Requirements

• Experience in the design and implementation of game development systems
• Unity 3D development experience
• Proficiency in C++ and strong object-oriented design skills
• Experience with memory management, multi-threaded programming, and cross-platform development
• Working knowledge of 3D math
• Minimum of 4 years game industry experience with at least 1 shipped title
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related area
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Scrum or Agile development environment
• Automotive HMI development experience
