Unit Receptionist

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and professional welcome to patients, visitors, and staff
• Deliver essential administrative support to the Day of Surgery Admissions (DOSA) team
• Manage daily operational requirements including data entry and financial processing
• Act as the first point of contact for inquiries via phone and in person
• Coordinate general office tasks to ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to deliver patient-focused service

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong computer skills and ability to manage administrative tasks
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive "can do" attitude
• Understanding of confidentiality and privacy requirements
• Administrative experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
