About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with customers and donors in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner
- Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit, ensuring minimal voids or shortages
- Sort, pack, hang, price, and store incoming donations to maintain inventory quality
- Assist with store layout, window displays, and merchandise organization to attract customers
- Maintain store cleanliness and safety, including sweeping, dusting, and clearing obstacles
- Monitor store security and assist with stock rotation and inventory control
- Unload donations and assist donors with their contributions
Requirements
- Completion of some high school coursework
- Previous experience in customer service or processing/distribution of goods
- Proven experience with cash handling and operating cash registers
- Computer literacy and experience working in a computerized environment
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 30 lbs frequently
- Ability to undergo applicable background checks
