Union Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers and donors in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner
• Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit, ensuring minimal voids or shortages
• Sort, pack, hang, price, and store incoming donations to maintain inventory quality
• Assist with store layout, window displays, and merchandise organization to attract customers
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, including sweeping, dusting, and clearing obstacles
• Monitor store security and assist with stock rotation and inventory control
• Unload donations and assist donors with their contributions

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework
• Previous experience in customer service or processing/distribution of goods
• Proven experience with cash handling and operating cash registers
• Computer literacy and experience working in a computerized environment
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 30 lbs frequently
• Ability to undergo applicable background checks
