About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and efficient customer and donor service in person and by phone
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash, debit, and credit
- Receive, sort, and price incoming donations according to quality and safety standards
- Maintain merchandise flow by replenishing stock and assisting with inventory control
- Support store presentation through visual merchandising and maintaining a clean sales floor
- Follow established opening, closing, and security procedures to ensure safe operations
Requirements
- Completion of some high school
- Up to 3 months of related retail or customer service experience
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks such as standing, walking, and bending
- Strong oral communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to undergo applicable background checks
