Union Installation Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform broadband installations and service changes while adhering to safety codes and company procedures
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve customer inquiries to ensure products and services are working properly
• Educate customers on available products and services to enhance their experience
• Use hand tools and installation equipment to manipulate connectors, fasteners, and wiring
• Operate company vehicles safely and maintain equipment to ensure readiness for daily duties
• Work in various physical environments, including climbing poles, using ladders, and working in confined spaces like attics or crawl spaces

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift and carry loads of 70 lbs or more
• Ability to climb poles and ladders, and work at heights using bucket trucks
• Willingness to work in confined spaces and near power lines
• Availability to work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
