Unified Communications Engineer

Responsibilities

• Grow, monitor, and manage global voice and video infrastructure
• Manage end-user setup, devices, profiles, and asset management
• Execute software and hardware configuration changes globally for meeting rooms and collaboration services
• Monitor alarms generated by voice and video systems
• Serve as an escalation point for users and other technology groups
• Interface with IT Operations, Cybersecurity, and Networking teams for capacity planning and standards development

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience configuring and supporting Cisco UC and Collaboration Product Suite in multi-cluster environments
• Expertise in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (12.5+), Cisco Meeting Server, and Cisco Expressway
• Excellent knowledge of SIP, Session Border Controllers, and PSTN SIP trunking
• Experience with voice recording platforms (Verint, Nice, Calabrio) and messaging archiving products (Movius, LeapXpert, Smarsh)
• Working knowledge of Cisco APIs and experience with automation using Python or PowerShell
• Experience upgrading and maintaining Cisco UC products, including phones, softphones, and video endpoints
• Experience integrating cloud conferencing (Webex, Zoom, Teams) with on-premise infrastructure
• Familiarity with virtualization of Cisco UC applications on enterprise-grade servers (HPE, Dell, Cisco)
• Strong understanding of security standards and troubleshooting capabilities
• Fluency in English; Mandarin fluency is preferred
