Underwriting Analyst - Personal Accident

Responsibilities

• Manage and process personal accident insurance quotation requests from the Commercial area
• Perform insurance pricing and establish conditions such as coverage, benefits, and limits in accordance with company underwriting policies
• Present and defend pricing strategies to the regional team for review and approval
• Calculate and update risk rates for various coverages across different business lines
• Analyze loss ratios and the overall profitability of the assigned product portfolio
• Develop statistical reports to ensure accurate insurance pricing
• Support the management and analysis of claims data

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience in pricing, actuarial, management control, finance, or similar roles
• Proven experience or knowledge in developing statistical models and data analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas and pivot tables (required)
• Intermediate level of English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL for data management and analysis
