Undersea Combatant Systems Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise and technical support for the development, evaluation, and operational employment of submarine combat systems
• Focus on the AN/BYG-1 Combat Control System, payload integration, and tactical guidance development
• Bridge fleet operations, tactical development, and combat system engineering to ensure operator perspectives inform system design, testing, and fielding
• Support national security initiatives through technical guidance and program support

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical sciences, mathematics, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in submarine warfare, undersea combat systems, or naval operations
• Demonstrated expertise in AN/BYG-1, torpedo and strike warfare, or target motion analysis (TMA)
• Experience supporting Navy organizations such as UWDC, NAVSEA, NUWC, or fleet commands
• Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Submarine Officer, Fire Control Technician (FT), or Sonar Technician (STS)
• Experience with combat system development, testing, integration, or tactical doctrine development
• Familiarity with working groups and requirements processes such as STRG or FIWG
• Knowledge of SWFTS transformation efforts, DEVSECOPS, and modern combat system architectures
