Underground Observer

Responsibilities

• Function as an observer in underground mining environments to identify and report on the safe use of NCM products
• Identify and report any deviations from safety or product usage protocols
• Provide an observation and report service between NCM and the Customer
• Ensure all relevant information is effectively communicated to both NCM and the Customer
• Gather and share information to build strong relationships with the workforce and management
• Proactively identify problems, issues, and complaints in the workplace

Requirements

• Matric RSA
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office applications)
• Ability to pass a medical fitness test as per mine requirements
• Strong communication and report writing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• One on One on the Job Training certificate
• Assessor certificate
• Comp A or B certification
• Training or coaching ability
