About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform emergency and preventative maintenance on all production and support equipment
- Conduct electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair/replacement of component parts
- Execute preventative maintenance tasks including greasing, fluid checks, and oil/filter changes
- Perform permissibility checks
- Conduct welding, acetylene torch cutting, and mechanical fabricating
- Splice equipment cables as needed
- Weld belt drives and starter boxes
Requirements
- Current KY State electrical card
- Ability to work any shift
- Experience maintaining and repairing underground mining equipment and machinery
