About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day academic operations and implementation of the new First-Entry Bachelor of Information program
- Analyze service delivery and internal processes to recommend and implement improvements
- Provide detailed information regarding program eligibility, course requirements, procedures, and deadlines
- Coordinate program audit processes and the preparation of program or course materials
- Serve as a resource for faculty and staff by providing guidance on academic policies and procedures
- Coordinate tasks for strategic initiatives and projects with various stakeholders
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of university structures, academic policies, and legislated requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of four years of recent academic program administration experience in a post-secondary environment
- Proven experience working with Program Directors regarding admissions, registration, and degree requirements
- Strong knowledge of academic policies, including petitions, application processes, and registrarial roles
- Proficiency in student information systems such as ROSI, ROSI Express, Quercus, eMarks, or similar platforms
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint
- Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking skills to manage competing priorities
