Undergraduate Admissions Counselor/Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Recruit new students within assigned territories, with an emphasis on California, through visits to high schools, community colleges, churches, and youth events.
• Develop, implement, and manage recruitment programs and special projects to meet undergraduate enrollment objectives.
• Advise prospective students and their families on educational opportunities, admission requirements, policies, and financial assistance.
• Deliver professional presentations to various audiences, including parent nights, community groups, and on-campus informational meetings.
• Evaluate applicant files and transcripts to determine admission eligibility and troubleshoot application issues.
• Maintain consistent communication with prospective students via telephone, email, and correspondence throughout the enrollment process.
• Analyze recruitment trends and collaborate with enrollment leadership to develop effective strategies and partnerships.
• Maintain accurate records of all recruiting activities and contacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• 1-2 years of related experience in recruitment, admissions, or a similar field.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by the recruitment schedule.
• Demonstrated ability to uphold the University’s Christ-centered mission and values.
