Unconventional Computing Technical SETA

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and program management support for innovative research programs focused on analog and hybrid analog-digital computing architectures.
• Assist the Program Manager with program execution, performer oversight, technology assessments, and strategic planning.
• Support efforts to achieve improvements in computational speed and energy efficiency across multiple scientific disciplines.
• Conduct technical assessments, risk analyses, and program reviews.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and transition planning for emerging computing technologies.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience supporting advanced technology research and development (R&D) programs.
• Knowledge of unconventional computing concepts, advanced computational architectures, or related emerging technologies.
• Experience in project management, technical program execution, and stakeholder coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong technical communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or other federal R&D organizations.
• Technical familiarity with photonic computing, quantum-inspired computing, synthetic biology, or nonlinear materials.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and AI-enabled analytical tools.
• Background in supporting proposal evaluations, research solicitations, and performer management.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
