Unarmed Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Perform regular foot and vehicle patrols throughout the property
• Provide courteous assistance to guests and create a visible, approachable presence
• Respond promptly to disturbances, emergencies, medical situations, or suspicious activity
• Collaborate with the surveillance team to monitor CCTV systems
• Maintain detailed incident and activity reports
• Conduct routine checks of doors, windows, lighting, and fire safety equipment
• Promote awareness of property rules, safety protocols, and emergency procedures
• Utilize conflict resolution skills to manage difficult situations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods and work outdoors
• Availability for weekends and holidays
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, MVR, and criminal background check
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks like walking stairs
• No face or neck tattoos
• Professional appearance and demeanor
