Unarmed Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity and protect property through patrols and access control
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from stationary positions or during patrols
• Enforce rules and check credentials of vehicles and individuals on premises
• Perform foot or vehicle patrols to detect suspicious behavior and prevent vandalism or theft
• Greet residents and guests, check identification, log visitor vehicles, and control access
• Acknowledge guests, monitor CCTV systems, announce visitors, and distribute packages

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid state security license
• Valid driver's license
• Valid CPR certification
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Computer skills preferred
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
