Unarmed Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of areas in the public right of way to identify potential safety and security risks
• Maintain a visible presence and engage in professional public interactions
• Document all interactions in a clear and concise written report
• Communicate pertinent information to team members, safety teams, and the client
• Monitor and detect suspicious behavior to prevent vandalism, theft, or criminal activity
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering or smoking
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms, or emergencies by contacting local first responders
• Identify and report safety concerns and security breaches in a timely manner
• Ensure all rules and regulations are enforced

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school degree or equivalent
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record
• Current valid Texas Level II Guard License
• Minimum of one year of security experience
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience
• Ability to conduct extended foot patrols up to six hours
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
• Physical ability to crawl, crouch, climb stairs, kneel, run, and stand for extended periods
