About the role
Responsibilities
- Scan employee devices and verify IMEI numbers
- Monitor dock areas for theft and track inbound/outbound trucks
- Count pallets and monitor dock doors
- Operate metal detectors and X-ray machines to prevent prohibited items from entering
- Patrol areas to deter theft attempts
- Track high-value loads using computer software
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with report writing
- Monitoring and surveillance experience
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Preferred Qualifications
- Bi-lingual skills
- Availability for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
