Unarmed Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Scan employee devices and verify IMEI numbers
• Monitor North and South docks for theft and track inbound/outbound trucks
• Operate metal detectors and X-ray machines to prevent prohibited items from entering
• Conduct patrols (Rover) to deter theft attempts
• Use computer software to track high-value loads
• Perform administrative tasks including email and truck information entry

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Experience in monitoring and surveillance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills
• Availability for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
