Unarmed Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Patrol interior and exterior of retail properties to identify safety and security risks
• Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Report emergencies and request police, paramedics, or fire departments as needed
• Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering or smoking
• Complete parking patrols and issue violations when necessary
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
• Deter criminal activity and misconduct
• Lock and unlock areas according to site opening and closing procedures

Requirements

• AZ Unarmed Guard Card (must have or willing to obtain)
• 18 years of age or older (21+ to drive company vehicle)
• Valid Driver's License
• High school degree or equivalent
• Security experience preferred but not required
• Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Weekend and holiday availability required
