Unarmed Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage guest and visitor access and eject trespassers when necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals and vehicles
• Document and maintain visitor logs and notify residents of arrivals
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and patrol perimeters to identify risks
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms, and emergencies by contacting first responders
• Identify and report safety concerns or security breaches in a timely manner
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation and reports
• Enforce all rules, regulations, and company policies

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school degree or equivalent
• Valid state security licensing
• Minimum of one year of security experience
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
• Physical ability to stand, walk, run, crawl, crouch, and climb stairs for extended periods
• Open availability including some weekends
