Unarmed Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons
• Patrol industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion
• Ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as property damage or theft
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
• Maintain order and protect property during the second shift
• Respond to emergencies and provide necessary assistance
• Communicate effectively with other security personnel

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a security officer or in a relevant position
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and remain calm in emergency situations
• Basic computer knowledge for report completion
• Flexibility to work 2nd shift hours, including weekends and holidays
