Unarmed Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high-visibility presence to deter crime and reinforce client peace of mind
• Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols to monitor premises and secure perimeters
• Observe and report suspicious activity or safety hazards promptly
• Provide professional interaction with residents, guests, and employees
• Enforce site-specific policies and procedures
• Write clear, detailed incident reports and daily shift logs
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, or incidents with calm judgment
• Assist emergency personnel and communicate with law enforcement when required
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Reliable transportation to and from assigned job sites
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior security, military, or customer service experience
