Unarmed Security Building Officer

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility by periodically patrolling different areas to deter criminal activity
• Manage access control by verifying credentials, badges, and visitor passes
• Monitor CCTV cameras to identify suspicious activities or security breaches
• Monitor entry and exit points for authorized personnel and vehicles
• Maintain detailed logs of all vehicle entries and exits
• Observe for security threats, loitering, or illegal activities
• Report and document security breaches, safety hazards, or emergencies

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to pass drug screen and criminal background check
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable security experience
• Valid, non-expired guard card/security license
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work in inclement weather
• Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills
• Computer literacy

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Class A Building Officer or HOA security experience
• Control room experience
• Valid driver license
