Unarmed Roving Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty
• Conduct general patrols on foot and within a vehicle to check for security violations
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft
• Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property
• Respond to incidents and emergencies and record data for management

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid Driver's License
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, and driving

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a security officer or in customer service, retail, hotel, or restaurant positions
• Bi-lingual skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
