Ultrasound Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with regulatory body guidelines and TELUS Health policies
• Work independently with radiologists to perform necessary tests
• Greet and take charge of patients upon arrival with professionalism and empathy
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, chief technologists, and clinic management regarding specific cases or processes
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and participate in quality assurance and quality control programs
• Maintain clean and fully functional examination rooms

Requirements

• Membership with OTIMROEPMQ
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist
• Independent practice certification
• Bilingualism in English and French (spoken and written)
• Strong communication, prioritization, and ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn new software quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with PACS systems
