Ultrasound Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic sonography examinations across a variety of patient presentations
• Analyze sonographic findings and communicate preliminary findings to physicians
• Use independent clinical judgment to identify normal and pathologic findings
• Support safe, patient-centered imaging care and patient comfort
• Assist with daily sonography workflow, documentation, and equipment monitoring
• Participate in imaging quality initiatives and accreditation support
• Provide imaging-related education to healthcare team members

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program
• 2+ years of recent ultrasound imaging experience in a hospital or clinical environment
• Current BLS certification
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with a valid passport
• Ability to obtain and maintain MRPT security clearance
• Ability to meet pre-deployment physical requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• CAAHEP-accredited sonography program
• ARRT and/or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) eligibility or certification
• Experience with digital image acquisition and transmission systems
• Previous experience in international, military, or multidisciplinary healthcare environments
