About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of local, national, and international ultra-low field (ULF) MRI research initiatives
- Provide technical consultation in sequence development, deployment, and complex data analysis
- Develop long-term strategic plans and prepare funding proposals to advance research goals
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of research assistants, coordinators, and students
- Act as a liaison for industry partners, external investigators, research ethics committees, and funding agencies
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and the implementation of operational protocols
- Customize ULF MRI sequences and protocols for specific studies in coordination with the Principal Investigator
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with MRI image reconstruction tools
- Knowledge of medical image processing methods
- Commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrated experience in ULF MRI research
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong ability to interact with diverse stakeholders, including neurologists, radiologists, and company executives
- Excellent project management, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting at international conferences and publications
