About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of local, national, and international ultra-low field (ULF) MRI research initiatives
  • Provide technical consultation in sequence development, deployment, and complex data analysis
  • Develop long-term strategic plans and prepare funding proposals to advance research goals
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of research assistants, coordinators, and students
  • Act as a liaison for industry partners, external investigators, research ethics committees, and funding agencies
  • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and the implementation of operational protocols
  • Customize ULF MRI sequences and protocols for specific studies in coordination with the Principal Investigator

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Familiarity with MRI image reconstruction tools
  • Knowledge of medical image processing methods
  • Commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in a relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in ULF MRI research
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong ability to interact with diverse stakeholders, including neurologists, radiologists, and company executives
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting at international conferences and publications
